The story of MSQC- did you know...

Jenny Doan was so nervous when she made her first YouTube video she tripped over a cord and broke her leg? That the Doans started the company in 2009? And that at that time Hamilton, MO had a population of 1900 whole people! MSQC attracts as many as 8,000 tourists a month- that's 4 tourists per resident. I'll bet more people have moved there by now, lol. Here's the link to the story by Forbes magazine: https://www.forbes.com/feature/misso.../#68e1be227486

I thought I had read reviews of MSQC that people had written about their shipping problems and this article explained the problems they had in the past and how they grew past them. My phone finally gave me a suggested link that was interesting. Good bot, lol.

It is amazing how it has revitalized a whole town. I am hoping Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville Inn will draw people as well to her area.

I remember Jenny breaking her leg. Natalie and Dawn would do the videos too. I was reading the blog when they bought the new shop and kept up the progress of the redo. I think the family is a perfect role model of success in America. They had a vision and achieved it through hard work and dedication. I admire the Doan family.

I think the Doan's have done a wonderful job in revitalizing a small town. I did not know that she broke her leg on the first video the made. That is sad and maybe she thought that wasn't a good idea but she kept on going and now is a "super star" in the quilting world. I love to watch her tutorials. Would love to go to Hamilton, Mo. some day.

With plenty of education and great timing thrown in.

I didn't know she broke her leg either. I absolutely love anyone connected to Jenny. They are so wonderful to do business with.
Talk about a success story!

So do I! I'm only a couple hours away.

Husband has offered to make a drive to Hamilton ....we live in Davenport, IA. So it would be an overnight trip to say the least. Don't think he knows how many different fabric shops are included and how much money I could spend!!

Been to several retreats and they treat you like royalty. The store clerks are the best! The best experience you can have in a small town!
