Need help with border
 

I have not been active on here for so long but now I am retired and need to get back into quilting. I'm embarrassed to say I started this quilt for my daughter 6 years ago and need to finish it but can't decide on the last border. Which one would you pick? TIA

I like the first picture with all the borders in the order you show them!

Well - congratulations on the retirement!! Love the quilt and imho both would look just fine but I usually tend towards a darker last border so I would go with #2.

I'm always an odd-man out, but I'd like the darker outside border with #2, too.

Just my .02. Do what You feel is best. :)

I usually like a darker border, but in this case I like the first one!!! Congrats on your retirement. Be sure to show us the finished quilt it will be lovely whichever one you choose!!!

I like the floral border too. Congrats on retiring. 6 years is not too bad. Some of us have UFOs much older than that ��

both would be fine, but I like the second one... the darker border tends to stop your eye from traveling further out

It's a toss up for me. I think both are lovely and am looking forward to seeing the whole quilt.

Large scale print for border, dark fabric for binding!
