Identify this block
 

I took a class about 5 years and became sick and stopped quilting. I am just getting back to quilting and found these squares that I had made but don't know what they are called or what pattern they go to. Help!!

I believe the block is called Whirligig if you Google Whirligig quilt block tutorial you will find several examples that look like your block.:)

Whirlygig is one name, I know it as a traditional block called Houndstooth. There is a new version of Houndstooth now.

M'liss Rae Hawley did a book on fat quarter quilts and it is in there as well.

Don't the name but floral print is beautiful.

Just came back to say that if you put the skinny ends in the middle it is Windmill.
