dating a Standard Rotary machine

Does someone know how to precisely date a Standard Rotary Machine? The serial # is 775905

From my understanding, most manufacturing dates by serial numbers have been lost or destroyed. There are a few that have tried to date by paperwork that came with machines. Singer and New Home have some records that can be found. If I were to guess about your Standard, I would think it to be about 1905 - 1910.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

That was my guess too. It's a "slim" and it appears to be pre-spider. I just wondered if there were records anywhere. I picked her up at a big flea market they have 4 times a year in Lucasville, Ohio. There is nothing with her except the foot that is on her.
