Grace Speed Control and Baby Lock Jazz II
 

I recently purchased a BabyLock Jazz II to use with a Q-Zone Hoop-Frame, and was hoping to be able to use my Grace Speed Control with the Jazz II. It won't work with the recommended BabyLock settings, but I think it will work with a different setting. There is a beep when the speed control attachment is inserted and it actually worked for a few seconds at one point as I tried different slider arrangements. Does anyone have any suggestions? Try contacting the Grace company?
Years ago they sent me the "wrong" control and when I contacted them, they walked me through taking the cover off, moving some "pieces" that just lifted and clicked into place - the configuration was different for the machine I had, so they "re-configured" it over the phone by having me move piece "A" to position "B" sort of thing.... then it worked. I don't recall at the moment what those pieces were called, and I'm not a techie person!
