These 3 machines make over 100 that I have

I just can't seem to pass up these beautiful sewing machines even though I have way more than I will ever use. The Montgomery Ward called Round Robbin was only $15 and such a beautiful color that I just had to have it. The case will need some work but is easily repairable. It looks to be nearly new hardly ever used. Picked it up at Thrift Store. The other Montgomery Ward which is blue and white is also in nearly new condition. We got it from a thrift store also. We thought about it for awhile but decided it needed very little work and was in pristine condition so we purchased it also for $25. It's case is in excellent condition. Last but not least is another Singer 15-91. It is a Centennial model but needs a new power cord and the foot pedal needs to be attached to the power cord all for $15. It needs to be cleaned and some maintenance done on it. Again, these are machines that I just didn't need but who could pass them up, not me.

Those are very nice. I wouldn't have passed them up either.

Vintage sewing machine rescue is legitimate, in and of itself! I am at around 100 machines myself, although I realized this past year or so I was way beyond capacity (living in an old beach house), so at least half of the machines will be finding new homes as I get them up to snuff. Recently I got my own Centennial 15-91 into regular use and it is a joy. And fast! I also had to do some rewiring but that is a trifle- wiring is a consumable like belts (on belt machines) or bobbin winder tires.

That 15-91 looks to be in great shape. The Wards machines are a pretty color. I had one of them similar to the first one, except mine had cams. I decided I had too many machines and sold that one. It sewed well. Congrats on your purchases.

I suppose I have only a small fraction of the machines that you love and cherish. I hope to say the only thing I am looking for now is a featherweight. But I am in no hurry. That is why garage sales. All 3 of the machines are great and keepers for sure.

I had to quit collecting when I ran out of room - went from the house to the "shed" and then to the converted bin. I'd love to get down to around 75- 100 machines, so if you want a few more, just head this way!

Very pretty machines. Lucky you to find them.

Love these machines but where do you keep that many machines?

Good for you! They are all beautiful machines.
