Cross & Crown Quilt

This is another quilt I made based on fabric that I could use for a backing. Based on the colors and the theme of the sunflowers I chose the Cross & Crown Block because a) I had it on my "bucket list" and b) it looked like a flower. I think Bonnie Hunter has a quilt called Tulip Fields that is the same pattern. Anyway, I shopped my stash for all the[ATTACH=CONFIG]614449[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]614450[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]614451[/ATTACH] fabric used in this one and that's a good thing :)

Beautiful, I love the gold with the teal. That looks wonderful.

Lovely and what a great tie-in from the front to the back. I do love large prints and rarely can find a place to use them better than a back!
I think the small print in the background print also gives a nice sparkle, not so stark as a solid. |
