Cutting a bias strip

I am doing some collage flowers that curve and flow.
I like the Steam a Seam method but just wonder about cutting on the bias once the fabric has been adhered?
Or, is there a better method?

The fusible stablizes the fabric so you don’t have to worry about bias. Many of our appliqué shapes are curved- there’s always bias edges.

You know I realized that after I posted the question. Thanks for your input.
