Water stain
Does anyone have a solution of how to take water stain off of a wooden chair? I had a plastic bag on the seat of the chair and didn’t realize it had some water in it. It left a watermark on the chair. Wondered if anybody had any good ideas to get the stain out.

One of these might help you. I haven't tried them but hopefully someone will come along that know for sure what will work (from experience).

My DH repairs furniture for a living. He recommends these cloths.
Jasco White Ring Remover Cloth Homax White Ring Remover Cloth They are available at Home Depot or Walmart. These cloths require a bit of 'elbow grease', but will remove water stains. |
I got this remedy for removing water rings from wood furniture from an Ethan Allen Furniture book years ago. Mix a little bacon grease with ashes from a fireplace to make a paste. Rub into the white ring until it disappears, then wipe off the excess. I have found that a little cooking oil can be substituted for the bacon grease. Good luck!

I've used plain old vasoline. Removed a water stain on a 100 year old cedar chest. Put on a layer of vasoline and left for 24 hours then wiped off an buffed good.
