I finished this quilt last night. Pattern is called "Shining Brighter" from Alex Andersons book
Simply Stars Quilts that Shine. The size roughly is 77'' x 103'' I sewed the majority of this quilt on my 1934 singer feather weight A quick story I found a penny 1 morning It was heads up.. Anyhow my nephew was out looking for stuff people were throwing out City wide clean up here in Muscatine, Ia He stopped by He gave me a black box In that box was my 1934 singer feather weight sewing machine Some one thru that black box out Yes that is what I said some one thru that black box out The border is pieces I had left over from making of the stars[ATTACH=CONFIG]616306[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]616308[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]616309[/ATTACH]in the quilt its self |

Your nephew is a keeper. I can't even imagine finding a Featherweight on the curb. Now you are going to make me a trash gal. "smile" And, your quilt is gorgeous. Glad to see you posting again.

The quilt is lovely! The FW is a story that made me gasp as I read it. What a delight. Many years of sewing from that little gift.
