Info for the Kenmore 158-1941

Does anyone know anything about the Kenmore 158.1941? According to the Thriftynicklegirl, it's a super high shank machine, all metal, etc. Any idea who made these?

According to https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...n-t259833.html
158 = Maruzen / Jaguar

Kenmore manuals will have several machines in one manual the one I found for 1941 can be found at http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/lis_...M/L0909123.pdf It shows Super High Shank and Low Shank feet.

Most of the 158.XXX machines seem to be pretty good. Some weak points for the Kenmore machines is that some of the bobbin winders get broken and because of the kind of metal are not really fixable. It uses a 15 class bobbin, so a Sidewinder or other machines can wind bobbins.
