A vintage gift! Legacy from my grandma! Please help me identify?

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for checking out my thread! My name is Dena and I'm a 23 year old who likes to make plushies and costumes. :)
My mom recently gifted me my grandmother's sewing machine from circa 1970~1980. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the model? I'm pretty sure it's a Euro Pro Dressmaker, but I may be wrong. Picture attached Thanks in advance for any help you can give me! Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this thread. |

Welcome from Mississippi!
Don't know anything about your machine, but it looks like a golden oldie! Enjoy learning about it as you use it. |
Looks live a nice machine. I don't know anything about it, but there are a lot of photos of various Dressmaker machines on Pinterest. You might be able to find a photo of one like yours.

I found this link showing some pictures of vintage Dressmakers: http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine...e_pictures.htm
Your model isn't there :-( We have lots of discussions on "Dressmakers" in this board. I am scanning through quickly and haven't found your model yet. Hope you do! What a fun mystery to work on! |
Welcome for SE Michigan! I see you are jumping right in and that is wonderful! I don't know anything about your machine but I am sure someone here will. This is a grand place to learn and share information on quilting, and other sewing related issues. Welcome aboard.

There is a Dressmaker name on the bottom under dome of the controls.

Thanks for the warm welcomes!
I'm really excited to do more sewing now that I have a machine. I sewed a small face mask for my little sisters Halloween costume on it yesterday and it ran great once it had a little oil and I figured out how to thread it properly. Oh! Before I forget, I have something else to share. My momma showed me grandma's old White Rotary Sewing Cabinet the other day! I remember using this machine a little bit in high school when I was learning sewing machines because it was so simple. Pic attached |
