Tools from a old Singer
 
Hello from Norway
I find this rare tool in a old hand operated Singer. Anyone know what this tool are used for?
It have a scale from 1 to 10

Just a guess, but it looks like a part from a vintage adjustable hemmer or "turner." The "1 - 10" scale on its bottom side indicates how large the hem that will be created will be.

My guess would also be a hem depth gauge. Can't imagine it used for anything else.

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan. I don't know the part. My knowledge does not go back that far. I know there are many here who do know hand cranks that should help you.
