Does Your Bed Quilt Creep Away at Night?
I have a king size quilt on my bed and it's laying over a king size comforter. And every morning, the quilt and comforter have managed to "creep" down the foot of the bed - at least a foot. Does this happen to you? It makes me crazy because it's a pain to have to strip the covers and remake it every morning!

My top sheet always does that. since it's winter, i just use a blanket first, then the quilt. so far, so good.

It's probably because you have it on top of a comforter. I have a blanket and then the quilt and it stays in place. When I used a comforter with a quilted cover, it used to creep a lot.

Oh, this is helpful. I'll ditch the comforter and try a blanket under the quilt.

I also have this problem in the winter but only a lightweight quilt on the bed in summer with no creep so my guess with my problem and yours is the weight of the quilt and comforter that are pulling it to the bottom of the bed.

I have my quilt on top of a blanket and it also "creeps." Drives me crazy.

It is probably because of the comforter. Especially if your comforter is slippery.

If it wasn't so cold in Connecticut, we'd use just the quilt to keep warm.....

My quilt is over a top sheet and still creeps down a bit. I like my shoulders covered and the back of my neck (I sleep on my side) so I feel like I'm constantly pulliing the sheet and quilt up at night. 100%cotton sheets, 100% cotton quilt with cotton or wool batting, so, go figure. The quilt isn't over-long either. I make quilts whatever size they turn out to be...they tell me, I don't don't often get to do more than 'suggest' a size to them! :D
