Can someone please tell me what the little white icon that I can see next to ‘Community’, ‘Search’, ‘Quick Links’ and in various other places is supposed to represent?

It looks like a pair of white knickers to me!

:D knickers... It is a "drop-down" arrow. If you click on it, it will give more options for that category.

don't be afraid to explore.
take yourself on a tour of the whole board.
click on the menus to see what they offer.
go through the QB Help Center to read the information shared here.
look at all the different pages and features.

there's a lot to see and to enjoy.

Just so you know PatricaJ The board was much improved after the first rework of the board. It can only keep getting better and I for one think over all it will be super after everything is tweaked. It is not suppose to work like the old board and this will be great with a few more tweaks. Thank you for all you efforts. Great job!
