Beautiful machine. Is it close enough for you to pick it up? Are you going to get it?? Keep us posted.

I sent an email message, but haven’t heard back yet. Would love to have it!

I can't se the link from this .puter. Is that the one with the wide belt and the slightly curved needle? Crossed fingers for you.

Can’t wait to pick up in April! What do you all think if I painted it and put new decals on it?

fabulous little chain stitcher. That treadle is wonderful. Mine is finger powered.

pictured is the bottom of the chain stitch.

I can’t wait to pick it up. I want to use the chain stitch for fabric embroidery painting. 💕💕💕🇫🇮🐣

I'm of the opinion that, generally, one should not repaint these antiques. I do understand if it is rusty and missing a lot of paint that it would probably help increase the usefulness of the machine.

That needle plate is in excellent condition and I do not see any rust on the painted parts of the machine. I would not even consider painting that machine. I may consider painting the irons, depending on their condition.

to change the stitch length there is something that moves under the bed.

oil if up first. you may not want to paint it. let is show it's age.
