FW Table Addition
3 Attachment(s)
Just took possession of what i believe to be an early FW table. Needs a little bit of tlc but not much. Thought i'd throw the machine to see how it looks. Happy days https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/thumbup.png
If anyone has any extra info on the early tables, would be greatly appreciated. |
What a lucky find!

Are there any Simanco numbers on the hardware or bottom of the top? The slides look longer than the original hardware. I think they all had smooth side trim and a finger notch so one could lift the bed to change bobbins. Also the original ones that I have seen have cross pieces to set the machine on, but not a solid piece. According to https://singer-featherweight.com/blo...s-and-cabinets there were two versions. According to http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_mach...nd_tables.html there were three versions, but doesn't show pictures of all of them.
That is a nice looking table and nice that the FW fits. I'm thinking that it might not be an original Singer card table, but it is a very well done one. Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. Not affiliated with off-site link(s) |
