When I sat in church and used to think someone's shirt or dress fabric would work real well in my planned quilt.

In 2014, my photos from a tour of the Cathedral in Sienna, Italy, were mostly geometric floor tiles. I think they would make a great medallion quilt.

...ummm….when your nephew comes over and states "you don't have a house...you have a sewing studio"...and offers to help you move your long arm into the former living room so you don't have go down into the basement anymore.

During the movie Titanic, I was drafting out the "White Star" design from the floor patterns.
When I go to one of my doctors, I'm always looking at that carpeting there and thinking what a good quilt that design would make. When my hubby gets a compliment on one of his masks and just shrugs and says "well, my wife is a quilter"... |
