Making blocks all the same size?

A couple of years ago I saw a tutorial how to make preprinted blocks all the same size with sashing . Does any on know where that was? Help please! It was clever.

This isn’t exactly a sashing method but here is one that I’ve seen to make blocks the same size using panel blocks and a fabric square.

I like Laura Ann Coia and her video channel, Sew Very Easy. This one is from six years ago, with good advice.

Bookmarked this one, Cleaver idea only I think I will add a little batting behind the picture to give a puffy look and feel.
