Were you able to find something to buy that made the trip worthwhile?
Whoooooa!!
They should be labelled as "gold" FQs! BC sure is ahead of Ontario .... no way you would get into any sort of a LQS yet. Only Porch Pickups! (Guess that is the fancy way they say Curbside Pickup. :)) |
I've never seen ANY fat quarters that expensive! Ouch.
sounds like my electricity bill!!!
Glad I have a good stash!
Let’s see, say 12 yards for a bed quilt, 4 fat quarters to a yard at $8.00 per fat quarter........$385.00 per bed sized quilt! Who could afford such a cost? I wonder if the market will support such an extravagant price point. We are still largely buttoned down here in the LA basin. Although shopping is allowed in some places there are restrictions to the number of patrons allowed in shops to maintain social distancing. I haven’t ventured out for more than necessities. I have shopped online and the new cottons are very expensive.

$8 for a fat quarter is equivalent to $32/yard for yardage. How much were they charging for yardage?
Oh how I love my stash!
I would have turned around and walked right out. That's insane!
