Baby quilt pattern needed

I want to make a baby quilt for a young friend of ours expecting their first baby in early October. I asked her mother what decor or color choices would be used in the nursery and was told green and rattan and mid century/boho vibe. What? I know green and I know rattan but what style would mid century/boho vibe be? Any pattern suggestions? Thank you.

Remember when babies room were pink, blue and yellow? Maybe green. Those were the days my friend!

There are many ways to get either a mid-century or boho vibe. Boho is Bohemian, swirly mixes of color and patterns. Mid-century is often more blocky but there were those curved forms too.

Wish I was you, Alva, I have a piece of fabric that is not just the color but looks like woven rattan! I'd make it into a Round the Twist wreath around some sort of green fabric. As it is, I plan to use it for the nest of a chicken in my Barn quilt project...

I did some searches, just for inspiration maybe look at these bedspreads from Overstock and see what they consider Boho:

I think a strip quilt as Iceblossom posted from Overstock would be perfect for a baby's room. Simple, easy, and could include a couple shades of green and tan to spice it up.

Curiosity made me put that description in Pinterest and the most useful thing I found was this https://cozynursery.com/10-best-boho..._medium=social. I think I would do either stripes or squares.....quite basic. In pale teens and tans.

It can be a bit open ended. I like Boho too but in neutrals. When I put in Boho green quilts this is what i got. Maybe an inspiration. It is a bit gypsy https://www.google.com/search?q=boho...w=1745&bih=852

Or maybe something like this for an inspiration-square in a square look.

or boho baby quilt https://www.google.com/search?q=boho...h=852&biw=1745

The good part it seems if you have the right fabric the pattern is rectangles.

Use the colors the mom wants but add in some bold colors. Boho decor uses items like plants and natural products made from rattan. The accessories like pillows, throws, etc., have lots of bold colors found in nature like shades of orange (leaves), blue hues from the sky, browns for the earth, and colors of the natural flowers and weeds outside.

Looking at some of the links made me think of some fabulous Tim Holtz fabric. The eclectic elements collection has pretty prints.

I like the square in a square one.
