Two Quilts Finished

The first one is a kit I bought two years ago at the Chicago Quilt Show. The quilt was called Ker bloom. For some reason I as I worked on it, I thought of it as Hot Mess. Probably because it sort of different for me.
Second one is a pattern from Missouri Quilt. You used a template and simple paper piecing. |

For some reason, the first one reminds me of the Grand Canyon. It's busy but beautiful! The second one used 'simple paper piecing'?? Wow! It's lovely!
