Granny's "Bloomers"
 

A slight adaptation from a Terry Atkinson pattern called Granny's Bloomers, measureing about 64 x 64. Peach pink, green and white . It gets it's name from the look of twirling flowers I think. Actually completed the top a few weeks ago, but have just gotten around to quilting it. Washed and dried for that soft crinkle look. It will go to Project Linus for charity.

Ha! I was picturing old fashioned granny panties appliqués on a washing line. 🙀

I was thinking like Notwendy, but either way it’s a very pretty quilt with a wonderful vintage feel to it!

eibed...... Granny's Bloomers" is a Simple Pleasures Pattern by Terry Atkinson. Copyright 1998, so it's a much older pattern. It may be hard to locate, I got mine off a Facebook selling site. If you PM me your address I'll send you mine. Doubt if I will make another one.

me too! I have seen high heel quilts and bra quilts. this was a lovely surprise. Good job on this beauty!
