Spaghetti Squash

I made this yesterday and it was delicious. I found the cheeses blend in small packages at Walmart. Any white cheese blend you like will work great. Anyone have any tips how to cut the squash without an axe? LOL

Looks delicious! Cutting any squash can be difficult. I use a large knife with the metal shaft that goes all the way down the handle. I lay the knife where I went to cut through and tap on the back edge of the knife with my little kitchen hammer. I have cut some large squash using this method and it is far easier on my muscles.

That looks excellent and I just happen to have 1/2 of a spaghetti squash in my frig needing to be cooked. Thanks!

I found this video and while ago and have used this method successfully. https://video.search.yahoo.com/video...p=yhs-sbsearch

I microwave the squash about 5 minutes before cutting. (Puncture a hole, like baking potatoes, so it won't explode)

I also put it in the microwave for a few minutes as stated above.

I tried this - it works GREAT ! Thank you. I’ve been doing it all wrong 56 years.
