Fav charity quilt pattern

Mine is Arkansas Crossroads. https://yeoldesweatshop.blogspot.com...-quilt-49.html Great way to use up lots of scraps. Especially left over jelly rolls. Works up easily into whatever size I need.

What's yours? Got a link to show?

When I make the 16 patches,I sew long 2 1/2" strips together and then cut into 5" lengths. Really speeds up the construction process!

This is a couple of mine. The first is 1 patch with sashing. This uses large prints.
The second is done with strips.
The thumb nail uses large prints with a rail fence. it's very effective.

I recently did an X and O quilt. It went together really quick. And a good use of scraps

Take 5 is a great blocky pattern that is easy and always looks good.

One of my favorite quilts to make for charity is merely sewing all 5” squares together. It looks great all scrappy, or with a coordinated collection of 10 fabrics or so. Easy to quilt with cross hatching across the squares.

Many many years ago a quilt shop I visited had made this quilt pattern up and displayed it on a bed...the owner called it Road to
St. Charles, MO. ...the town I was visiting. Funny but it's always stuck in my mind. I need to make one of these with my scraps as soon as the arthritis in my back calms itself down and I can sit long enough to sew.

French braid quilts and showering stars are my favorites, especially if going to places where teens might be the recipients. Both patterns appeal to teens of both genders.
the guys in my family/ friends love really colorful quilts, the girls are a bit more ( reserved) both of these patterns go together fairly quickly and the Showering Stars is great for using scraps

Thanks for the URL for Arkansas Crossroads. I am drowning in scraps and I plan to cut them into either 2.5" strips or 2.5" squares.
