What's your favourite table runner pattern?

So, I've moved into my new home, and I finally have space for a kitchen table! My Dad and I have sanded and varnished a lovely oak second hand table, which now looks a picture in my kitchen. In fact, it's so lovely, I want to protect it with a runner...

What's your favourite table runner design? I'd be really interested to see if people have any ones they particularly love. Show off your creations and share inspiration :)

NB: Obviously don't share patterns here, but I would be up for buying a pattern so please do link to them!

Atkinson Designs is my favorite for almost any patterns; however tablerunners are a special favorite. Her directions are amazing to follow. https://atkinsondesigns.com/collections

Oh thanks for the link sahansen44. I too need a new table runner.

My favorite is usually the one I'm working on. I change mine up a lot. It's also fun to try a new design this way, without making a whole quilt.

You might check out the member swaps & row robins forum. There is a quarterly runner swap and you can look at past threads to see runners swappers have made. I love the runner, because it's a perfect size to experiment with. This is my most recent runner which I made from "bonus triangles" on a recent quilt. Basically they are HST, which I sewed into a block (looked for blocks that were made from HST), sashed and sewed together...Ta Da :-)

That link to Atkinson Designs has given me two great new patterns to make for Project Linus. I'll expand the Cha Cha Cha table runner to the size for a baby quilt or toddler quilt and the Round Trip Ticket will be great for use with the many juvenile prints I have, but will use a darker background instead of the white that is shown. Thank you for the link!

My favorite to make was the patriotic one I did for charity. It is a bargello type effect and was a real kick to do.

Garnet that's simply stunning, and I love the ombre look. Did you use a pattern for that?

Thank you! Yes, it is a pattern. I think it is called a spicy spiral. Or something really close to that.

I am not sure, but i think I saw a different video. But here is a link to a lady showing how it is done.
