pieced lamb pattern
 

Good morning All.

I want to make a mug rug for my 96 year old mother's shelf at her assisted living facility and wondered if any of you have a pattern of a lamb that's quick and easy? I need about a 5-6 inch finished block.

This book has a couple easy to piece lambs, they are based on a 3.5" block -- but it is pretty easy to enlarge that either by hand or simply by taking to your local self-service copier. How they enlarge differs, and some of it depends on how big you want it.

not sure of size but there are some cute ones online you could do without a pattern. Have fun.

Don't forget about kids coloring books for patterns - of all sorts of animals and things.

To enlarge from a 3.5" to a 6" block, divide 6 by 3.5, which equals 1.71. When you go to photocopy, enlarge it by 171% and you'll end up pretty close to 6".
