Madeira Polyneon vs Glide Trilobal

Does any one have an info on the differences between these? I have a ton of Polyneon for embroidery - it seem silly to buy Glide for quilting if it's the same stuff...

I don't see anywhere on the madernia website where their polyneon thread is for quilting. I know Glide can be used both for quilting and embroidery. Maybe call madernia and ask about their polyeon thread?

I think it's probably pretty much the same stuff, they are the same weight. So many different thread manufacturers out there, I've tried many of them and had no problems. I've even purchased some off brands from Amazon and I've never had any problems with any of them either.

I don't use either one but I have used my embroidery polyester threads for quilting. I've also used the embroidery metallic threads on my machine too. In fact I think I have better luck on the metallic threads with my quilt machine than I do with my embroidery machine. I used Fufu now known as Floriani as well as BFCreation's threads. Both are polyester.
