My Art Quilt at Opening Night!
 

Some may remember that this art quilt was juried into an international art show earlier in the year.
There were 858 entries and 100 were accepted. Some of the pieces were absolutely amazing, in all sorts of media...from sculpture to painting to installations that you walked through....Mine was the only textile art there.
It was fun because if you were local you were invited to come stand beside your piece and speak to the people who came to the opening night gala. I also got a catalogue of the show.
