Hi all.. I found your forums whilst looking for examples of New York Beauty quilts. I now have so many things to look at on here I am not going to have time to sew!
There are so many talented people on here and the pictures I am looking at are amazing. I have been sewing since I was a child, my first quilt was a hexagon scrap one, although sewing and crafts have picked up over here I just don't see as much enthusiasm in the UK for quilts, none of my family or friends really appreciate them so it is nice to find like minded people.

Maybe start with small items like table runners, pillows, pot holders, etc. You will find so much help & encouragement here on this quilting board.
