It's very eco-friendly and energy efficient.

Hahaha. My grandmother would love it. She thought having a washer and dryer was the height of luxury.

grrr. still can't do quick reply. anyway, that is still the best way to dry washing. of course ironing is next, hmmm. maybe I will change my mind.

It brings back memories of when I was little and the wonderful fresh smell the sheets had when they went straight from the clothesline to the bed.

I still have issues posting replies too.

Ironing doesn't bother me, it's all that folding.

I wish I could hang my sheet and blankets outside. But all the pollen we have around here, my sinuses would revolt.

Lol when I first saw this thread, I thought "Oh no, Chasing Hawk is having to replace her dryer, also??!?!?!?" 🤣

I wonder how people coped with allergies when they had no dryer. I don't remember any one complaining about allergies when I was school age. I know my aunt had sinus problems and she blamed on having a broken nose when a child. Don't recall any class mate every having an allergy to anything. One boy had epilepsy and all the class knew what to do if he had a seizure on the playground. I went to a small rural school.

Those having problem replying I found if I increase the zoom 10% it usually clears up the problem.

My new (old) house has a clothes line in the back yard and I love to hang out clothes to dry. Can't replicate that fresh air smell!
