Patterns or blocks that have minimal piecing and show off the focus fabric?
 

I have about 3 yards of this fabric and I LOVE it so much. I generally don't like cutting up beautiful fabric into small pieces, I like showing off the focus fabric. I also just hate piecing in general (I prefer applique and embroidery) so I try to keep piecing to a minimum.

Any ideas please? I also have a bunch of fat quarters that would coordinate well with this fabric. I don't have a final size in mind, I just want to make something beautiful because this is one of favourite fabrics ever.

It is beautiful! Cutting it vertically you could put long strips of coordinating solid-ish color between the wide strips of main fabric. There’s also a pattern called Oh, Henry that uses large pieces of a theme fabric.

It's beautiful. You don't have to cut it. You can take a large central block of it, and just add a wide border or perhaps a small and then a wide. Quilt it in overall, edge to edge stipple (medium), to give it great texture. "Simple" works when the fabric is a knockout.

I would use the coordinating fat quarters to make a quilt top that would need about 3 yards of backing, and use the 3 yards of this beautiful fabric as the backing and have a reversible quilt.
You are right this is a beautiful piece of fabric.

I have quilts where I sometimes put it backing side up because I love the backing!

I agree this is pretty fabric. You could consider a snow ball block. You could make the blocks. Really large.

For this one I agree with using it on the back of the quilt. While it's beautiful as a whole, I don't think it would have the same impact in smaller pieces.

Fabric cafe has some really great simple patterns that use 3 yards of different fabric usua1 yard of each.

I would use one of Fabric Cafe's Three Yard quilt patterns They have some especially for large focus fabrics. Their youtube channel is fun to watch and you can see all the quilt patterns.

if you cut that fabric, I would cut it on the diagonal. then cut into squares that you then turn on point!!
