233 half square triangles

Last week I made fying geese from two fabrics only. Instead of throwing away the section you cut off I sewed another diagonal seam across them before cutting off. Want not, waste not. Now I have 233 small half square triangles, they measure 2 1/2 unfinished. Been racking my little brain for a design to use them for. Any suggestions?

Wow, Quiltwoman44, that is a great link for using the HSTs.

I am following this as I have 200 HST that were bonus triangles when I made the Labyrinth Walk pattern.

Thank you for the link. What a clean crisp and interesting site! Lovely photos and generous directions in her tutorials/directions for how to make patterns. I have made this pattern previously, so I "know how" but reading clear directions is always a pleasure and one can learn new ways to do old patterns. Two of my examples below. Use up those HST's quilters and have fun!

Nice links for HST. Thank you both so much.

Hourglass blocks are fun to do, too - here is a quilt I made using "cast-off" HSTs as a starting point: https://www.quiltingboard.com/showth...94#post8515494
