Looking for the name of this pattern

Do you know the name of this pattern?
Thank you! |
I don't know a name, but it looks like it was made by strip piecing. The stripe is cut in a horizontal length and sewn to a dark. Then pressed open... and cut with a 60 degree template ruler, all down the strip. The triangles are sewn together and then bordered with the skinny strips and then the background 4 corners are added. BUT... this pic looks like it's made of wood, like a barn quilt.

It definitely looks like something painted on wood. But I think sewbizgirl's method would work
|
That is so cool!!! I will try to remember it!

It is a painted piece. It seems in the recesses of my mind that I've seen this pattern before, but perhaps not. I will copy your instructions and try it out. |
So glad you asked this question!
I can't help you with a name either, but while I was hunting for it, I found this: https://scissortailquilting.com/quil...ibrary-images/ :) |
