The EEAAO Summer Quilt
1 Attachment(s)
The movie people stole my favorite phrase ('Everything, Everywhere, All At Once') for when things go wrong all at the same time, so I'm swiping it back to name this quilt. ;) I started it in the Spring and just finished the binding on it. I truly enjoyed doing this one, from deciding the overall color scheme (pinks, oranges, turquoises, yellows and greens) to figuring out how to put it all together once I chose the final pieces (I have many leftovers that didn't make it in this but will be waiting for possibly another). Just ditch quilted and flannel back with no batting, as it's just intended as an extra blanket on cold nights. Thanks for looking. :)

I like the colors you chose. It turned out really well for you.

I like the block variety you have (styles and sizes), but most love the border!

Love your quilt! The colors and pattern are wonderful. Very fresh looking.

What a bright and cheery quilt!

So pretty! The colors make me happy!!

Love the colors and the variety of quilt blocks. Congrats on crossing the finish line.
Did you design the blocks or is there a pattern? |
Thanks everyone! :) It really was a labor of love. And kept my mind busy through a rather tumultuous summer.
RhondaK, there is no pattern, a couple of the blocks are from this year's Riley Blake's block challenge, a couple I saw pictures on the net and just figured them out, and some I just made up, and then figured out how to put them all together. I had originally envisioned more white and less busy but I couldn't find a layout I liked so just worked it until I was happy with it. |
Very pretty quilt, geevee!

Trying to quilt again
