Crayola washable markers
When using Crayola Ultra Clean Washable Markers for marking quilting lines, do you prefer the fine line ones or the broad line ones? I want to be able to clearly see the lines.
Is there a difference in using the Crayola Ultra Clean Washable Markers vs. the Crayola Washable Markers? Do you need to be careful not to iron over the marker ink once you put it on the quilt top? Or doesn't it matter? (as I was thinking of also using them to mark temporary stopping points, where they would be ironed over) |
More research and found this video SewVeryEasy Pretty much answered all my questions!

I have used washable marks from crayola for a long time and never had a problem. . I have ran a iron over the mark also and never had a problem.

I knew when I washed my grands white tee shirts that had marker all over them that they would be great for quilting. I use the fine tip.

Thanks for the video. I was unsure about ironing over markers and having them set into the fabric. I use the thin markers. Not red. Just don't trust it.
