Bitsy Boxes
 

I tried something new. These are Bitsy Boxes. I made 9 of these. When the grandkids saw them on Thanksgiving, they are all claimed. They can hook on a book bag and store little things like chap stick or tissues or an eraser, small things that always seem to go on the bottom of the book bag. Each one is approximately a 3 inch cube. They were fun to make. They make great stocking stuffers, too.

I love small useful things, and these are both. They would be really cute made in school colors.

I like this idea! I carry a backpack when flying, and I can see where this would be useful. Also like SueZQ's idea to make them in school colors.

Your bag is adorable! I've made tons of those type of bags in all different sizes. I keep them on hand for those last minute gifts, I use them myself to organize many things.

Installing a zipper in something that small is very intimidating!

The zipper was easy to install. The directions are well written and there are pictures so that helps too. You use a longer zipper so it gives you more room when its open for sewing.
