I joined this group just a short time ago, but have been doing more reading than writing. I started quilting about 20 or so years ago, but haven't done anything for the past 15. My time is very limited, but I would like to get back to quilting and sewing. Everyone here sounds so helpful and makes you want to pull up a chair and sit and chat. I'm sure I've forgotten most of what I knew about quilting or there are newer and better ways of doing things. I'm sure I'll be looking for help. Happy Holidays. :)

Another welcome from WA. I love CT and try to visit once a year. My ancestors are from CT (Norfolk was the last place my GGgrandparents lived). My sister lived in Manchester for 6 years.

Hi Linda, Manchester is the next town over from where I am. Except for groceries, most of my shopping is done in Manchester - Buckland Hills Mall.

Wow, you live right near where I lived for 2 1/2 yrs, - I was in Windsor, - I miss the shopping there, especially Christmas tree shops! Have you joined a guild. I belonged to Friendship Quilters in Windsor when I was there. I learned a lot from that group. Enjoy your renewal to the quilting world, - a lot has changed in the past 15 yrs.
