Emergency Question -- School Wall Hanging
 

I've been asked to make my neighbor's worker a High school wall hanging. I want to make it 18x18 inch square.

School colors are Red and very dark Navy Blue
Questions:

1. Should I use the school's name or just the 2 initials of the school or the initials large and the name in a semi-circle?

2. Should I use red for the letters or background? The school uses red blue and white for the backgrounds and the letters.

I would focus on making a 12 inch finished block with borders. There would then be lots of options.

All would be perfectly cute. What a sweet thing for you to do!! Maybe ask the neighbor what they think is trending or just do the one with the amount of work you want to put into it -- with just 2 initials being the easiest and the initials large with name in semi-circle being more involved. How you use the colors for the letters and the background should match how the school uses them. It will make it more significant and meaningful to the end user.

maybe you could try making initials large with a ribbon across the front with the school name written out on it
