no longer able to quilt

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Ladies, I have a quilt that I am no longer able to do FMQ on it. it is partially quilted (with batting and backing). It is a scrappy lone star pattern, the size is 74 x 94 inches, with light background. I am willing to mail it to someone who will finish it and keep or donate. All new fabrics from MSQC.
Please, let me know. Not sure how I will choose the right recipient if any are willing to take it and quilt it!
Thankyou.

Generous gift. Have you checked locally to see if there are any groups (guild or church) that gift quilts to organizations? Where I live we have battered women's shelters, Quilts of valour, half way houses that get donation quilts. Some quilt guilds have long arm folks who will quilt the tops others have made for these organizations.

MTKoldra .... WOW! that is a beauty!
I would never have thought of a Scrappy Lone Star.
To tell the truth ... I think I am more impressed with it than many other Lone Stars.

I hope that there is someone who will take this task on for you. But more so, I hope there is someone would have it in their ♥ to finish it, and give it right back to you, for you to enjoy!

I am so sorry you aren't able to finish it yourself. That is just so sad.
I don't understand how anyone is able to quilt one on a standard machine like that to begin with. It seems like a lot of work. And I'm sure it is.
We (my DH & I) have a longarm and he quilts mine for me.
I hope you are able to continue with smaller quilts in the future.
