Has anyone made a card table cover?
 

Has anyone made a quilted card table cover? I know it wouldn't be hard to do, but I love to follow a pattern if you have one to share please and thank you!

I made a table cover for my newly acquired solid maple table about 4 years ago. Reason behind it was I have 2 cats that think they should jump up on it and with their claws, they'd for sure scratch it. My corners didn't come out as nice as I'd hoped for but it serves the purpose just the same. I had around 5 yards of this bright colored fabric so I made covers for my mixer, instant pot, hot pads, table runners, place mats, even curtains till I had only scraps leftover.
What I didn't use on the table cloth, I used up on the place mats and hot pads.

I made a cover for our small RV table by just drawing a template of the shape. I know you mentioned wanting a pattern, and found a few videos that look quite helpful.

I don't watch much tv, but I do watch YouTube videos. Last week, one that was in my feed (probably bc I watch a lot of sewing and craft videos) was for a fitted tablecloth. I didn't watch it, so not sure if it is what you are looking for.

I made felt covers with elastic, one green and one black, for a round card table. Snug fit. Smooth flat surface.
Dealing cards, poker chips, game pieces, boards, puzzles. Got to have a good flat smooth surface. We use our game table for all game activities.

At the most I could see embroidering something on my felt on outer edges, but that might even interfere with game pieces.

There are a lot of accessories for cards and games. I could see quilting those. Bags, boxes, covers, totes, wallets and pouches for game money, drink coasters, cover for poker chip carousel.
I made pretty little beaded draw string money bags for mahjong.

I like quilt as you go projects and your table topper turned out great! Please share your tutorial or pattern if you have one.

I hadn't thought about felt for a cover. My table cover will have to withstand lots of washings as the kids will be using it.

:) Yes, this would be a fast and easy table cover for kids use. I have some laminated table covers that I can cut smaller.
