Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

I designed this quilt from a picture. DD showed me the pic and informed me that her friend of many years loved it. I told her that I would love to make her a quilt. So, I watched a YT video, which helped. I quit trying to second guess which fabrics she would like and just picked what I would like. I did not want it to be stiff, so I quilted sparsely. Serpentine lines radiating out from the sun, which is smiling!
