Magnetic seam Guide and ruler

Does anyone have these? I am thinking of ordering these from Madam Sews. Sometimes I do seem to go a little crooked and thought this would help.

I bought one only to find out my machine plate is aluminum (not magnetic) so it won't work....
I would test with a regular magnet first to see if it will hold on your machine.

I never thought of that. I will thank you.

I use a magnetic seam guide on my Featherweight, it works well. I don’t know if it is the same kind as the one you are referencing.

I sometimes use one on my FW and 301, I'm not sure it's the same one.

Be sure it is strong and won't move when sewing. The pretty colored ones I've tried have all been too weak. I use the solid metal one. It holds tight in place and takes effort to move it.

We have it. I don't use the magnetic guide, but I do use the ruler a lot to set my masking tape. (The magnetic guide is actually one of the strongest ones out there tho - I just prefer a longer guide.)

Mine sits in a drawer. I just use tape.

most machines come with a guide that screws into the bed. Look in your attachments before you buy something
quilterj, are you watching your needle rather than the side of the foot? do you have a single needle plate rather than a wide needle hole plate? you can also use double sided tape to glue down old credit/key cards for a guide.
