Quilt shop in Washington or Oregon….

I am wondering about a quilting store in Washington or Oregon that I have heard about. It is a huge store that has thousands and thousands of bolts of fabric. They are well known for being so big but I for the life of me cannot find it. Can anyone help?

Jordan Farbric is in Grant's Pass, OR
There is also a wholesaler in Portland called EE Schenk.

Perhaps you may be thinking about one of those?

Fabric Depot in Portland closed down I think in 2018, maybe you are thinking of that?

Jordan fabric is not open to public.
I'm guessing Fabric Depot in Portland too, it was a wonderland. Long gone now,

Kind of a little off the original request but there is a nice Quilt Shop in Puyallup, WA. Suburb of Tacoma. It is walkable for me when I visit son and family. They have a website with fast shipping and a really nice varied selection of fabrics and notions. It is not a mega store though. www.quiltbarn.com

I'm another one thinking of the shut-down fabric depot. It used to be worth a trip from Seattle to go there, the Daisy Kingdom Outlet and there was a used bookstore too.

I never got to go to Jordan Fabric in person, lol I have drunk coffee in their parking lot... They closed to the public back in Covid.

Most of the Seattle area shops are rather small these days. Carriage Quilts was a favorite, in Des Moines.

Closer to home was Gossypium in Issaquah.

I also thought of Fabric Depot. I loved going there when I lived in Oregon, especially when their patio was stocked with sale fabrics. If you're looking for good quilt shops in Oregon, I would suggest Finally Together in Lebanon. It's a large well lit shop with lots of sample quilts on the walls. Boersma's in McMinville is also worth a visit.

I suspect Fabric Depot in Portland is what you are thinking of. I used to call it the Mother Ship. Long gone, very sad. Daisy Kingdom has been closed for years, Powell's used bookstore is still there though, and well worth a visit. A bookstore that takes up an entire city block and is 3 stories.

If you're going to be in the area, I can give you a list of stores in the Portland/Vancouver area, plus a list up and down the I-5 corridor, from Seattle to Salem.
