30th Anniversary Gift
 

To celebrate an old friends 30th anniversary. I made this quilt for him and his wife.

There is a heart made with fish hooks, (he loves to fish) to represent their love for each other
30 musical 🎵 notes to represent their 30 years (and their love of music)
2 🎤 microphones 🎙️ for each of their daughters (they both sing as well)
3 blocks (with the family’s initials in them) (plus the wife works with kids) to represent friendships of the past, present, and future
and a cross for God’s continued blessings in their lives (the cross was done in a Celtic knot style because his bible has a similar design on the front of it)

the label will also point out these things so when they see the images in the quilt they will know why they were chosen.

I plan to bind and label it tomorrow and get it mailed out on Monday.

It feels good to be quilting. It feels like it’s been forever with as much I have working this past year.
