Basting Spray question

Hello Everyone,
Got a question - is it possible to salvage a can of spray basting that has a gummer up spray nozzle?
I got my can out yesterday and the nozzle is plugged....since it's over half full I'd like to save it if possible...

I think I tried most of the suggestions and end up throwing the can away. I’ve not found 505 brand to ever have the nozzle stop up. So I’ve stuck with that brand.

That is why I always replace the blue cap! Try poking a straight pin or safety pin point in the hole...

I've never had problems with 505 clogging the nozzle. But when I've had it happen with other spray cans, I take the nozzle off and soak it in very hot water. I'm sure it would work with basting spray since it's water soluble.

That makes sense! Thanks! It is not 505. I don't remember the brand. I got it during covid as a porch pick up and use it rarely...
