I saw “Have a Heart” quilt made with an old wedding dress. Can anyone share a photo of quilt made with an old wedding dress ?

the first quilt I 'started' was a double wedding ring, with satin corners. cured me of ever wanting to work with satin again, like trying to put socks on an octopus :)

I have some some gorgeous pillos made from the bodice of the dress and the shirt front of the groom, buttons and all.

Looking at the Patchwork Bear. It made me realize i dont have to get super complicated. I can just do squares. My dress became unboxed and now i need to do SOMETHING with it. I might make my girls all a small wall hanging or something but i like the idea of a small plain quilt. Complicated really slows me down!!!!!!!

I had a lot of fun making crazy-quilted hearts using the Molly Mine embroidery program. I was given some vintage fabric/lace left from a wedding dress and the lady who donated the fabric was delighted. The hard part (to me) was putting them into an ornament but a friend who's crafty did that part and I made the crazy-quilted front and embroidered something on fabric to be used on the back.
