My Quilts app?

Has anyone tried the My Quilts app to keep track of projects? I saw it listed on Karen Browns web site for gifts for quilters. I'm trying to figure a way to keep things up to date, too many of the planners and paper systems just don't work for me. What do you use?????

Thanks, trying to find my better way to stay on target.

I don't use anything to list or keep track of my quilting. I just sew on whatever project I decide to finish. There maybe a video how to use the app, maybe email Karen Brown.

There are 6 videos here to watch. I just keep a photo of the finished quilt in a file on my phone, also on a pc

I keep digital pictures of each quilt in separate folders, also an Excel spreadsheet listing quilts, date finished, sizes (when I remember to measure), and disposition of the quilt. I sort of wish I kept a record of the type of batting used. When I started out I also noted whether the quilt had a label or a sleeve, but I abandoned that pretty quickly.

I am not good at documenting. I don't put labels on my quilts (much to the dismay of my quilty friends) and I don't keep the pictures organized. So I guess I wouldn't use an app either.

I keep a yearly "diary" of quilts and projects, yardage used, fabric samples and pattern names. I include who the quilt was given too and sometime what I would change to make it easier. It has taken years and years to figure out just what info I want to keep. I write a list monthly of what I want to finish, seldom get that done, but it does help me focus on moving ahead. More importantly and more consistently done, are photos. I take a picture of every quilt, pop it in a folder on my computer with the date of completion as the first item in the title. New year is coming and a new folder and little spiral diary. Always a grand intentions to finish more. :)

I tried the published diary types from other sources but they did not fit "me" and the info I wanted to save. I use a smallish spiral bound notebook that has three sections, so I can use it for three years. Works for me.

Thank you all,

I think I will just keep my current process. Taking lots of pictures and keeping the printed patterns, with the notes I've made about the quilt in a file folder. I was looking for something a little more contained. I probably would not use the public aspect of the app.

That would be wise for anyone, and one should read the Terms and Conditions before considering such an app. In many cases, you're giving the author/publisher of the app the rights to use your uploaded photos/images, etc.

How many times have folks discovered someone "scraped" a picture of a quilt or other project from their Facebook page or Instagram and passed it off as their own work? Or worse, scammers using the photo in a fake ad?

I also have a "Finished Quilts" folder on my computer for photos w/o details. My BFF hounds me to add labels to my quilts. (She has several) Furthermore, I don't make a schedule-too much pressure. I sew when I feel like it and have the time. My current project takes much patience.
Any planning always goes out the window!
I do have a plan...to make a notebook with printed photos. Someday...
