"The Quilters" on Netflix

I just watched a very touching half-hour documentary on Netflix about prisoners in a maximum security prison who make quilts for foster children in their county. It's really worth watching.

I saw the trailer for this last week and told my husband that I wanted to see it. It starts today...was hoping it was more than 30 minutes long however.

I watched it yesterday. Very touching. Highly recommend if you have Netflix.

Have not seen it yet, but I will recommend the book “Hope on the Inside” by Marie Bostwick.

Some of the quilts on the film are amazing - very colorful and modern!

I watched with my husband. He started watching it so I could. I think he was amazed by what the men were turning out. It really was amazing! I read online somewhere that it’s up for an Oscar for best documentary. I hope it wins!

We watched it last night. I too, wish it would have been longer. The Dh was surprised at the creativity, but then equated it to woodworking--his field of expertise.

We saw it last night and it made me cry. Loved it.

I highly recommend watching it. It is very touching how these men have turned their lives around and are trying to help others. They have a talent for design and colors. It is very touching to watch.
