Hip replacement question: Best outdoor folding chair

I have a friend who had both hips replaced. She is looking for an outdoor folding chair that has a supportive seat. The chairs I've looked at sag in the seat. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks so much.

she would be better off asking her doctor and PT people. folding chairs by their very nature are flimsy until you get into the high end. If she hasn't had the surgery yet she could go to Bass Pro or other sporting goods store and try them out? a good sturdy kitchen chair with arms? I saw a good number of them at Habitat ReStore last week about 5 bucks each.

I wish her a speedy recovery, do the PT and she will be running soon!

She could pad any stiff solid base and place across any chair seat to make it supportive.

I had one hip replaced and don't remember any chair issues, but that was one hip. I had to go to a class beforehand where they gave exercises to do before and explained all that was coming. Maybe she should ask her doctor or the physical therapy people because they will be involved in her pre and post care.
